Dr. Kerri Jones

Dr. Kerri's Full Story: Personal Experience, Professional Background, and Hope

Professional Background

Dr. Kerri L. Jones, NMD, began practicing naturopathic medicine in 2002. Before becoming a doctor, she worked in exercise physiology and healthcare management, and later trained at Sonoran University of Health Sciences. Her career has included private practice, specialty laboratory experience, medical equipment, compounding pharmacy, and integrative medicine within family practice settings.

A Life-Altering Health Journey

Dr. Kerri’s personal health journey changed the direction of her life and practice. After a failed hip implant led to heavy metal poisoning and major health decline, she was forced into retirement and disability. Her recovery was slow and complicated, followed by the discovery of a spinal cord cyst, major neurosurgery, lasting back, hip, leg, and nerve damage, back fusion, spinal cord stimulator placement, and ongoing chronic pain.

Finding the Missing Pattern

Over time, Dr. Kerri came to understand that many of her symptoms fit within hEDS and overlapping conditions such as dysautonomia/POTS and MCAS. Like many patients, she experienced confusion, dismissal, incomplete answers, and the burden of having to keep searching for explanations.

Why HypermobileDr.com Exists

Dr. Kerri created HypermobileDr.com because she knows what it feels like to be complex, unheard, and still determined to find a way forward. Her goal is to help patients with hypermobility, HSD, hEDS, and EDS feel seen, believed, and supported while moving toward clearer understanding and thoughtful next steps.

Faith, Prayer, and Welcome

Dr. Kerri’s Christian faith is part of her personal story and source of hope. Prayer is available upon request, but it is never required. Patients do not need to share Dr. Kerri’s faith to be welcomed and treated with respect.

Hope for Patients

Complex symptoms do not mean a patient is beyond help. The path forward may be slower, more careful, and more individualized, but patients deserve to be heard, supported, and guided with compassion.
