Insurance & Cost Savings

How It Helps

Private-Pay Practice, Insurance, and Superbills

HypermobileDr.com is a private-pay practice. Payment is due at the time of service or according to the payment plan connected with your program or service.

Some patients may be able to submit a superbill to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies widely by insurance plan, and reimbursement is not guaranteed.

Before beginning care, we recommend checking your insurance benefits directly. Helpful questions to ask include: Does my plan cover out-of-network naturopathic medical care? Are NDs or NMDs covered? Are they covered as specialists? Does my plan include complementary, alternative, or integrative medicine benefits? Are naturopathic services excluded? How do I submit a superbill?

What Included

Superbills and What May Be Reimbursable

When appropriate, we can provide a superbill for eligible Dr. Kerri clinical visits. A superbill is an itemized receipt that may include diagnosis codes, visit codes, Dr. Kerri's NPI number, and other information your insurance company may request.

Some services may not be reimbursable. Health coaching, educational programs, group programs, care coordination, and certain support services may not have reimbursable insurance codes, or your insurance plan may not cover them.

HypermobileDr.com cannot guarantee reimbursement. Insurance decisions are made by your insurance company.

Insurance Exceptions
Some patients choose to ask their insurance company for an exception or out-of-network coverage when they cannot find an experienced provider for hypermobility, HSD, hEDS, or EDS in their area. If you choose to request an exception, you may need to explain why specialty support is needed and why appropriate care is not available through your in-network options.
HSA, FSA, HRA, and Tax Questions

Some patients may be able to use a Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account, or Health Reimbursement Arrangement for eligible medical expenses. Coverage and eligibility depend on your specific plan. Please check with your plan administrator, insurance company, accountant, or tax professional before assuming that any service, supplement, program, or product will qualify. HypermobileDr.com cannot provide tax advice.

CareCredit and Payment Options
HypermobileDr.com may offer CareCredit or other payment options for eligible services. Patients are responsible for reviewing all terms, payment timelines, interest rules, and any fees before using a financing option.
Products, Supplements, and Professional Platforms
When supplements are recommended as part of care, Dr. Kerri will document medical necessity when appropriate. Patients may have access to professional-quality supplement platforms after becoming established patients. Recommendations are individualized and based on clinical need, tolerance, safety, and the patient’s care plan.
Any product savings, platform access, discounts, or supplement eligibility may change over time and depend on the specific product, company, plan, or patient need.
